"I first met Stewart and Candy when I bought my first border collie and wanted to try my hand at herding. Stewart was the only Shepard I had ever met and I was profoundly impressed with Stewart’s command of his dogs. Not only were his dogs well trained for herding, but they were extremely well mannered and obedient. Stewart made me feel comfortable from the beginning with his warm smile and quick wit, and explained any and every issue regarding training in terms that any novice could grasp.

Stewart’s expertise goes well beyond the Border Collies and he has demonstrated his success as a trainer and handler across many different breeds. I have seen client after client come to Stewart with virtually every training issue any pet owner can have. Time and again, these clients leave Stewart’s with well disciplined, well mannered dogs that are a joy to be around.

I recommend Stewart without hesitation for any canine training or boarding need. He’s a professional and he and Candy always make you and your pets feel welcome and well cared for. "

"We rescued a Golden Retriever, Dolly, who had been quite neglected for the first year of her life. During the first month in our home she was a handful. Upon the recommendation of a friend we turned to Stewart and Dolly spent a month with Stewart on his farm. Our daughter has cerebral palsy and one of our requests was that she be able to walk Dolly on a leash at her pace. We were truly amazed when we picked Dolly up and she is a truly wonderful dog, with wonderful manners and training now thanks to Stewart. Our daughter can walk her on her leash, and they swim together frequently in our pool. Many thanks to Stewart for his training of Dolly!"

"We are truely honored to give a testimony for Stewart and all of you there. I am always so confortable when I drop Sage off there and go on vacation. I know he will be treated as if he were your own dog. The welcome we get is truely remarkable, so friendly. Sage would not be the good dog he is now with out the training he was given. Stewart and his help do a fantastic job with the animals. I would recommend him to every one who has a dog or thinking of getting a dog to let him be trained with Stewart and his help, all of them know what they are doing and the dog rewards the owners with the lessons they are taught."

"When we purchased our puppy I was midway through my 23 year military career. She has moved 6 times without a problem (not all military pets can make the multiple moves) and has joined me in retirement. At 11 years of age "Phenix" continues to be a great dog. I imagine I will be calling Stewart in 5 to 6 years to purchase another puppy. I would recommend a purchase or dog training from Stewart to anyone.”

"Jon and I wanted to take the opportunity to tell you how happy we are with Scout. I set out to find a puppy to be my companion and to help work cows on our farm. She has exceeded all of my expectations in every aspect. She learns faster than any other dog we have ever owned. She has the best disposition which has been wonderful having a 4 year old son. Scout is such a joy to watch when herding that she has inspired me to continue her training to compete in herding trials. We appreciate all of your time and guidance with Scout and me. I can honestly say she is the best dog I've ever had!"

“Stewart did an amazing job with Lady, my German Shorthaired Pointer. He treated her great and made her feel as excited to learn as he was to teach her. He had me come out so he could ‘train’ me how to work with her myself. That was, I’m sure, more of a challenge for him than working with her. Lady was in his care for over a month and I never once worried about her health and happiness. A couple of years later I got my Yellow Lab, Marengo Creek’s Cage, from Stewart and he and Lady were my pride and joy. Two well behaved dogs that changed my life. My goal was to come out of this training with a better and disciplined dog and as it turns out I made two lifelong friends. Thank you Stewart and Candy for all the wonderful things you do.”

"I met Stewart Harvard the first time in 1985 in Germany. One year later he invited me to visit him in the States. He also ordered 2 dogs, this was our first business. I lived in his house for 10 days where I had an awesome time there. Him, his wife Candy, his son Will also his parents are super nice people and we became, in a short time, very good friends. Friends for lifetime!!! We made very nice business together, not only one time. For all those years, and we still do.
Stewart is an absolute honest person. I trust him with my life. After 1986 I did visit him many, many times. Gave seminars at his training fields, and traveled with him to many big trials all over the states. I always enjoyed watching him when he trialed his dogs. I was very proud to be with him especialy when he ask me to help him before the trial. He has such a great feeling for dogs, to handle and train them. He is a awsome dog trainer. Not only in Schutzhund, he is also an especially good herding dog trainer. In 1999 my daughter lived in Stewarts house for a few months. I also took my wife
and my son over there. They all love the Harvards family. Of course Stewart, Candy and Will did visit us in Germay too. Stewart is my best friend in the states. And this since 24 years!"
